1. Early Life and Background

Reginald Alfred Bush, Jr. was born on March 2nd, 1985 in Spring Vale, California. He was born to parents Reginald and Denise of African American descent. Reggie grew up with two siblings, younger brother Jovan and older sister Britney. Reggie showed natural talent from an early age and played football in high school and college, developing an impressive reputation that landed him as the No. 2 overall draft pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. He was the top high school prospect in the country at the time and this set him on track for a successful football career in the NFL.

Bush played collegiate football at the University of Southern California, during which time he was a Heisman Trophy award winner and became known for his explosive running speed and ability to make acrobatic catches.
