    Joe Montana was born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania on June 11th, 1956. He attended Ringgold High school in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, where his football record was impressive. Montana went to Notre Dame University after high school and played college football as a four-year starter. He was a member of a national championship squad and led the team to a perfect season in 1988. Following his fourth year, Montana was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the NFL draft.
