    Matt Bomer was born Matthew Staton Bomer on October 11, 1977, in Spring, Texas. He began his career at the age of 11, appearing in several commercials and small productions. Bomer attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he studied Acting. He has two sisters and is the youngest of three children born to Sissi and John Bomer.
