    Emily Olivia Leah Blunt was born on February 23, 1983, in Roehampton, London, England. Blunt is the second of four children born to Joanna and Oliver Blunt. Her mother is a former actress and her father is a barrister. Blunt was raised in a Roman Catholic household. She attended Ibstock Place School in Roehampton and then went on to study at Hurtwood House, a performing arts school in Dorking, Surrey.
