    Chris Pratt was born in Virginia, Minnesota, on June 21, 1979. He was the son of Kathleen Louise, a neighbor, and Daniel Clifton Pratt, a mining engineer. He has three siblings and spent most of his early life growing up in Lake Stevens, Washington. Growing up, Chris enjoyed outdoor activities, fishing, and hunting. He attended Lake Stevens High School, after which he attended a local community college for two terms. He then enrolled in acting classes in Hawaii, where his brother had moved.
